Planet of the apes for real?

My opinion is that all apes have an eight point compass inside their brain, so that at different times the mind's eye sees different parts of the brain as being up. At some point humans developed a sixteen point compass. This leaves a false ceiling, where only going half way can leave you feeling that that's all there is. This point of view sees the range of a large male gorilla as being about as large as the entire world. It produces the illusion that the impact of human activity can only ever have as bad an effect as that of destroying one gorilla's range.

Associated with the eighth point is an emotional illusion. Here is a rough sketch of it:

The pattern is made up of numbered color pairs, with each pair complementary in color and tone. They are numbered from 49 to 72. The numbers seem to have a relationship to the number of years members of a species live. The pattern starts at the 2:30 position and slowly proceeds clockwise to the 3:30 position. The first pair have the greatest contrast in tone and the last pair have the least contrast.

The different color pairs are ordered in such a way that they follow the pattern a,b,c,d; d, a ,b ,c; c d, a, b ...

The elements at the bottom bear an uncanny resemblance to Marge Simpson. What this says about Matt Groening and American culture I have no idea.
